Choosing of their Japanese name-
Japanese soldiers going to everyone`s house to inform them about the changing of thier Korean names to Japanese names.Some obeyed and some were crying sadly.
And Uncle shouting "Let them arrest me!They cant take away my name,it`s my soul!"
Then,everyone started selecting their own new Japanese Names unhappily.
Being forced to cut down their Sharon trees-
Japanese soldiers going house by house to check that every house-hold had already removed their Rose of Sharon-Trees,those who did not,were punished.Tae-yul helped Omoni to remove the two small pots of Rose of Sharon Trees in the back garden.Omoni shed tears and secretly hid one of them into a dump of rubbish and tricked the Japanese soldiers that there`s no Rose Of Sharon Trees left.
Tae-yul's bicycle has being taken away-
Two japanese soldiers snatching Tae-yul`s bicycle from him,Tae-yul was sad and was crying,abuji asked him to let go,but he refuses give in.At last,he let go of his precious bicycle and the two soldiers took it away happily.Tae-yul was very upset with Abuji.
The end of war-
The war is over!! Everyone is so happy and elated that they are dancing around and cheering merrily.Japanese had no more powers to control them anymore! A happy Ending! :)
